I have a sort-of date next week, now. Sort-of because it was not clearly stated that it's a date-date, but I think that we both understand that's it's almost an actual date. There was eye contact.
Hurrah for dating, even in a very convoluted form. This is something I haven't done in a bit and I find I'm quite pleased about it.

ReplyDeleteI'm now in the process of trying to decide whether I ought to try to get her to have a coffee with me this week instead of next because I'm a little impatient. I've had a lot of advice of the "play hard to get" kind but the problem is that if you have two women playing hard to get, no one will ever get anywhere. I always seem to end up being the one who asks the other out anyway, so I'm thinking that I might as well just go for it. All the same, being overly aggressive can be off-putting.
Ah, the joys of convoluted lesbian dating rituals...
